According to a report, the defensive target that AC Milan are fully committed to signing will depend on Charles de Kitleri’s operation.
Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) confirms that Milan’s quest for a new center back is a battle between Japhet Tanganga and Evan N’Dicka and depends on De Ketelaere from a budget standpoint.
If Milan can acquire Belgian talent, they will in fact use about 60% of the budget available to them, which is about 50 million euros. That is why they then prefer to join the heart of defense on an initial loan with a purchase option. In this case, Tanganga will be in the front row after conversations with Fabio Paratici.
However, if De Ketelaere does not join and a profile like Hakim Ziyech emerges instead – who will arrive on loan with an option to buy from Chelsea – it means Milan will have more to invest in this summer in a defender.
The preferred candidate is N’Dicka, whose contract with Eintracht Frankfurt will expire on June 30, 2023, which means he can buy outright for €15-20 million.
