On Sunday, Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell sent a tweet about New York Yankees All-Star Aaron Judge.
Mitchell: “U Aaron Judge Is Going Crazy”
Mitchell points to the fact that Judge is having a great season (his record 37th on home soil this year on Sunday).
As for Mitchell, he and the Jazz finished the regular season as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.
They lost to the Dallas Mavericks in Game Six of the first round of the playoffs.
The Mavs didn’t have their best player Luka Doncic in their first three games, and the Jazz failed to capitalize.
In 2021, they were the best team in the NBA during the regular season, but lost to the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round of the playoffs.
Currently, Mitchell has been involved in a lot of trade rumors.
The two teams that have been reported most with interest are the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks.
Ira Winderman from South Florida Sun Sentinel On July 12: “Talk to the Western Scouts today here in Vegas about Donovan Mitchell. He said he heard the Heat had indicated interest. The Scouts said a long time ago that he would move Herro in such a deal. (Robinson, the Selectors would also likely choose to go abroad.”)
Shams El Shaarania from Athletic on July 13: “The Jazz and Knicks have started discussions about the Donovan Mitchell trade, sources and . tell me Tweet embed. New York is currently focusing on Utah, among the interested teams.”
