How to set up Voicemail on iPhone

If you just upgraded to a new iPhone or switched to carriers, you may be wondering why you’re not getting voicemails. Voicemail is a feature hosted by phone companies, so you have to set up your voicemail to access messages that others leave for you.

How to set up Voicemail on iPhone

Step 1: Go to the phone app

This is the message that will play when someone arrives at your voicemail, you can choose a default greeting or a custom greeting.

When you choose a custom greeting, you will have the option to record it and then play it back. You can do this as many times as you like until you are satisfied with the greeting. The default greeting is a pre-recorded message that varies by carrier.

Sometimes we have important messages in our voice mailbox that we simply can’t let go of. If you want to save a voicemail message permanently, select it, tap the share icon (the square with the arrow pointing up), and choose how to save it. On the same screen, it can also be sent as an audio recording to another person instead of being saved.

Telecom company visual voicemail; Some carriers support it, and some don’t. So if you’ve already set up your own voice mailbox and you don’t have visual voicemail, your carrier probably won’t support it. The next step is to check with your carrier to confirm this.

You can check your voicemail by dialing your number and pressing * or # when you hear your voicemail welcome, then enter the password to access your voicemails.

To change your voicemail greeting on iPhone, go to the Voicemail tab and tap greeting. You will be able to listen to your current greeting and choose a file hypothetical or Habit greeting. If you choose to customize, you will be asked to sign a welcome.

There aren’t many things you can control about your voicemail, since it’s a carrier feature, but you can change your password, greet, and save or delete messages. To change your voicemail password, follow these steps:

  4. Enter the new password you want to use

To delete your voicemail messages, you can choose a voicemail by clicking on it and then clicking delete icon. To delete multiple voicemail messages at once, select releasethen select the voicemail messages you want to delete and press delete.
