– Boston Celtics 23 July 2022
Jaylen Brown was exciting for Boston during the 2022 playoffs. While he could have been consistently better, he was often the best player on the field with the Celtics. He averaged 23.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals in Bentown’s 24 post-season games.
He did slightly better in the NBA Finals, scoring 23.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists against the Warriors. However, even his efforts were not enough to push them to victory.
With the World Cup experience under their belt, it looks like the Celtics are ready to make even more hype and fight for the title in the years to come. However, that still depends on Brown and Jayson Tatum being able to push themselves even further and raise their games to star level.
If there’s one thing Celtics fans can be sure of, it’s the fact that Brown seems more excited than ever to get past the 2021-22 edition for himself. We hope all the work he does pay off sooner rather than later.
