LeBron James is the number one passer – but he hovers around the top for the most points he’s scored each season.
LeBron James was right when he said he could be a scoring champ every year if he wanted to. The guy has never dropped below an average of 20 points in a season, and has never dropped below 25 since his sophomore year. It’s funny how things work because he doesn’t consider himself a scorer – he just feels like a guy who passes first.
And Bronn isn’t just a headstrong guy either, he has some variety in his pockets. Logo’s original shooter, 4-time champion versatile, as well as dominant. Kevin Durant holds the youngest goal scorer at 21, but LeBron at 21 was a different animal. For starters, Bronn scored 31.4 in an era that was considered the slowest by possession.
KD got 30.1 points as well but is down in other stats. He had only 2.8 assists compared to LeBron’s 6.6. Being called a bad shooter, Lebron James maintained the same effective aim ratio as KD, who was declared one of the best shooters in the game. Bronn is being unnecessarily criticized for doing more than he was asked to do.
Had it not been for Kobe Bryant’s 2005-06 God mode campaign, Bron would have taken the title in place of Kevin Durant. Bronn gained credibility in his playoff round. Overall, Bron was better than KD at that age.

LeBron James will be the best goalscorer ever – he’s coming this season unless he decides to get injured all season
At the age of 37, LeBron was 7 points away from making his claim as the oldest person to win a scoring title. He would rape Michael Jordan for two whole years if he just said yes to playing those last three games. Everyone knew he was fit, but he didn’t feel like it. Last season was incredibly disappointing for the Lakers, and they could have taken comfort in that honor.
But he appears to be reading the news because he has chosen to stay away from being officially known as the Extraordinary Statistics Officer. His chatter as he scores all his trash time points from blasts made the rounds on Reddit, and winning that meaningless title would have set him in stone.
MJ turned 35 during the season and would have been two points short of Bron’s at 37. While the 1997-98 season ended with a jubilant victory for the Chicago Bulls, Bron was quickly erasing a tweet early last season. However, he will never delete his tweet once he skipped Kareem Abdul-Jabbar this year – and that’s on hold for life.
