San Antonio (25 July 2022) – The San Antonio Spurs today unveiled the Nike NBA Statement Edition Uniform, featuring the team’s signature silver and black color palette and the recently introduced Texas and Satx high school crests. Spurs will wear the Manifesto uniform for a selection of games at home and on the road in the coming seasons. The uniform also features a recently announced branding from Self Financial, a credit-building fintech company.
“Our new statement release uniform captures the evolution of our team’s roots while celebrating fans across the region,” said Becky Kimbrough, Vice President of Brand Engagement at Spurs Sports & Entertainment. “With our intricate serape pattern, we blend our 50-year legacy with our vibrant culture that we celebrate on and off the field.”
Down its sides, the uniform features modern patterns inspired by traditional Mexican blankets and saddle blankets. Spears’ new “SATX” text logo is stitched across the jersey box with the iconic Jordan Brand Jumpman logo at the right shoulder and self-pattern on the left. On the center back of the jersey is the NBA logo. The front right cuff of the uniform shorts features the secondary Texas logo.
Tottenham will wear five official uniforms for the 2022-23 NBA season, including the White Association, Black Icon and the recently unveiled Classic Edition and statement released today. Tottenham will unveil a new City Edition Uniform kit later this year, which will be the fifth and final kit for next season.
The official retail product will be available this fall in Spurs Fan stores and online at spursfanshop.com as the team heads into the Golden Anniversary Season. The complete set will include T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatshirts, jackets, jerseys, hats and more.
