The suspense over the FSU Football QB’s recruitment will end on Saturday afternoon. Four-star QB target Brock Glenn will announce his commitment on the 247 network Saturday at 4 p.m. ET, according to recruitment analyst Steve Weltfung.
It appears to be a two-team race between Noles and Ohio State, however, everything will be on the line for FSU after Chris Parson’s non-commitment earlier this month.
The FSU coaching staff needed to take two QBs into this hiring course, and Parson was not a fan of that idea. Once Brock Glenn started some momentum toward FSU, Parsons exited the left stage.
However, there has been some chatter about Ohio State getting back into the picture lately. Glenn Noles officially visited on June 10 and Ohio on June 17. Crystal Ball predictions in favor of Noles began circulating on July 11th.
One thing to keep in mind is that FSU will be hosting a slew of big targets on campus this weekend. Part of me says this was organized by the staff to help create some big momentum in the season.
On the flip side… he might be waiting to commit near the upcoming recruiting weekend… with 1-2 other players likely to commit… offsetting some much-needed momentum as they prepare to head into the season.

Getting an FSU would be huge for a number of reasons. Glenn is the best QB on their board, and will give the perception that they beat Ohio State for his commitment. It is also likely to create some additional noise that may affect other targets on campus to announce their commitments.
Noles ranks 45th nationally, and adding two key employment targets will improve that dramatically. However, if Glenn chose anywhere else, it would be a huge loss to the hiring paths for employees.
No other high-quality recruiting targets left unless they try to keep Emory Williams out of Miami.
Either way, we’ll finally have some closure on the QB saga from the past few months. Here’s hoping Glenn picks up the good guys!
