Klay Thompson lost the Giants’ loss to the Dodgers Sunday, their first sweep of four games at the hands of their Southern California rivals. In nearly 30 years.

Trace Thompson, the younger brother of the Warriors star, torched the Giants team over the weekend, going 5 for 13 with two doubles, triples and three walks. With Trayce doing the hard work on the court, Klay was able to relax because he knows just how.

“This L.A. heat is no joke. Heroes, baby,” Clay said on his Instagram story before drinking a beer. “Man, I love baseball season.”

Sitting right behind the dugout, Thompson was able to celebrate a major RBI double by his brother and admire Jock Pederson’s poetry.

Trayce Thompson’s career seemed to falter after failing to catch the Tigers and Pirates this spring, but he stuck with the Dodgers even after the Mookie Betts returned from injury. The younger Thompson cuts .284/.360/.493 in the Dodgers’ 75 pitched strokes, and earns consistent off-court play time.

However, Clay wasn’t fully in the tank for the Dodgers on Sunday. It was She was spotted chanting, “Let’s go, Captain.” To fellow boating enthusiast and Giants player Brandon Bilt.
