Ting Internet offers Wi-Fi for the whole home

The fiber provider is rolling out a new worry-free Wi-Fi subscription powered by eero.

Charlottesville, Virginia – Ting Internet has launched a new “Whole Home Wi-Fi” package to ensure faster, more reliable, and gap-free Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home — particularly useful for homes with particularly large areas.

This new service is available in all existing Ting Markets, and will be available as an additional subscription to existing and new customers. Ting’s Whole Home Wi-Fi is offered in two levels, which is ideal for large or multi-storey homes where traditional routers may provide insufficient coverage. To achieve this service, Ting has teamed up with eero, an Amazon company, to offer a mesh wifi system that takes advantage of eero TrueMesh technology that works across multiple eero devices to send a strong Wi-Fi connection in every direction throughout the home.

“Ting’s fiber internet offers upload and download speeds that far exceed what anyone can reliably get from cable. But the internet experience is only as good as the Wi-Fi that makes it from router to router,” said Dominic Scott, Senior Product Manager, Ting Internet. Your devices.” “With eero, we can offer robust full home coverage to our customers with larger homes, ensuring they benefit from reliable Wi-Fi wherever they are in their space. Even better, our team will have more capabilities to remotely identify potential issues and make corrections in real time.”

“With a deep commitment to providing fast and reliable internet over fiber and a growing national footprint, Ting is an ideal partner for eero,” said Dana Lindsey, eero’s COO. “eero’s TrueMesh technology helps deliver seamless whole-home Wi-Fi coverage that will delight and empower Ting customers.”

Unlike most competitors, Ting does the hard work of selecting the best number of devices to provide great Wi-Fi coverage for your home. Interested customers will choose between Ting’s “Whole Home WiFi” or “Whole Home WiFi +” package, which covers up to 2,000 square feet and 2,000 to 5,000 square feet, respectively. These packages are based on square footage, and Ting will evaluate and provide as many eero devices as possible required to create the ultimate Wi-Fi experience. “A whole-home Wi-Fi solution takes the stress out of keeping up with the latest technology and the number of devices you need,” Scott added. “If a new model is released that provides a better Wi-Fi experience, we can include it in the same plan. At the end of the day, we are on a mission to deliver the best possible customer experience.”
