Myles Brennan, who began playing quarterback for LSU early

in the 2020 season but missed the most of the previous two seasons due to injury, 

 stated on Monday that he will no longer be participating in college football.

In a statement shared on social media, 

 Brennan announced that he is "moving away from football."

"I will always be appreciative of the opportunities I've been given, 

the challenges I've faced, and the time I've spent as a Tiger. 

However, it's time for me to begin a new chapter

For the starting position, Brennan was vying with former Arizona State
